Emory Executive Education Launches Goizueta Executive Web Series
Emory Executive Education will launch the new Goizueta Executive Web Series, presented by top faculty at Goizueta Business School, at noon EST, Wednesday, Feb. 17. The series is designed for business leaders who want to understand and anticipate trends as well as distinguish between temporary fads and durable sources of economic opportunity.
Presented live before an audience of senior executives and broadcast over the web, the 60-minute interactive webcasts feature some of Goizueta's best-known faculty, beginning Feb. 17 with a global economic outlook presented by professor Jeff Rosensweig. Rosensweig, one of The Wall Street Journal's top 10 executive educators, will address the issue of growth in the current economy. The session is designed to identify current trends and show viewers how to leverage this information to grow their businesses. The talk will include Rosensweig's forecast for economic and job growth globally and within the United States.
"This opening series and those that will follow provide opportunities to open the conversation and invite the business community to take a forward-thinking, global and creative view of the current environment," says Lisa A. Kaminski, associate dean of Emory Executive Education. "We want participants to come away with ideas that will help them capture new opportunities."
Additional topics and speakers include:
- Managing strategic growth presented by Rob Kazanjian, professor of organization and management
- Leading innovation presented by Charles Goetz, senior lecturer of organization and management and Distinguished Lecturer in Entrepreneurship
- Marketing and branding strategies presented by Jag Sheth, Charles H. Kellstadt Professor of Marketing and widely known author
To ensure content is as relevant and current as possible, the series will regularly add new programs. Topics will be shared via the Goizueta Executive Web Series website. Webcasts are accessible by invitation only. To request an invitation, contact Darice Whitaker at Emory Executive Education, 404.712.0047.
