Yiddish Revival Sets Stage for Survival

Emory students are keeping Yiddish alive in an interesting way. Started by a student-led initiative three years ago, Emory Yiddish classes preserve the history and culture of this unique language. The only one of its kind worldwide, Emory’s Intro to Yiddish course taught by Miriam Udel-Lambert attracts all types of students. In addition to their coursework, the students perform for community groups in the Atlanta area.
