Natasha Trethewey Discusses New Book "Beyond Katrina"

Pulitzer-Prize winning poet Natasha Trethewey, who grew up on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, has written "Beyond Katrina," which includes details of her family's history as well as her poetry. On the fifth anniversary of Hurricane Katrina, Trethewey says the people of the Mississippi Gulf Coast believe they are being forgotten. Trethewey is a professor of English and the Phillis Wheatley Distinguished Chair in Poetry at Emory University.
