Emory University Dedicates New Orthopaedics & Spine Hospital

WHAT:
Emory University Orthopaedics & Spine Hospital will hold its official grand opening and dedication event on Thursday, Feb. 12, at Noon. Beginning at 10 a.m., media will have access to personal, behind the scenes tours of the hospital – including a state-of-the-art, fully-integrated operating suite and specially designed patient suites.
WHY:
Atlanta’s newest hospital is the only of its kind designed and created specifically to meet the increasing demand for orthopaedics and spine care in a rapidly growing Atlanta metropolitan region. Emory University Orthopaedics & Spine Hospital now provides high-quality care in the delivery of general acute care services, and the most advanced, sophisticated technology in a novel patient-and-family friendly environment. It has dedicated services to help patients and families with every detail from before surgery to the emotional issues related to recovery from serious injuries. Emory has redefined what a hospital can be and this model has already received the highest patient satisfaction ratings of any hospital in the United States as measured by a national survey.
