Saturday Spring Cleaning: Midtown Organizations and Neighbors Clean-Up Area

Emory University Hospital Midtown (EUHM), along with local improvement groups and the community, will join together to "spring clean" some Midtown streets, neighborhoods and parks this Saturday, June 6. Called the "Intown Atlanta Clean-up", the focus areas on Saturday will be east of EUHM to Piedmont Road, between North Ave. and Ralph McGill Blvd., NE. Two parks will be included in the sprucing up.

Volunteers will pick-up debris, paint over graffiti, prune low-hanging tree limbs, cut grass, pressure wash, spread mulch and plant flowers.

WHO:
Emory University Hospital Midtown, Community Members, and Neighborhood Groups including the Midtown and Downtown Improvement Districts, Central Atlanta Neighbors and Keep Atlanta Beautiful

WHAT:
Intown Atlanta Clean-up

WHEN:
Saturday, June 6, 2009 from 9 a.m.-12 p.m.

WHERE:
East of Emory University Hospital Midtown to Piedmont Road, between North Ave. and Ralph McGill Blvd., NE.
