Emory Students Come Together to Learn Hospital Destinations

Emory University School of Medicine graduating medical students

Annual Match Day ceremony at Emory University School of Medicine. The 121 Emory students from the Class of 2010 will join their peers across the country in a nationwide rite of passage when they learn in which hospital they will work for the next four years to complete their medical residency training. The highly anticipated moment is filled with suspense and relief as the students discover where they are headed with the opening of a small white envelope. Emory students are among thousands nationwide who applied for residency positions at U.S. teaching hospitals through the National Residency Match Program that annually matches students with residency programs.
