News Article Image

In recognition of the 30th anniversary of the AIDS epidemic, Action Cycling is partnering with the Emory Vaccine Center to host a 30-mile Remembrance Ride on World AIDS Day, Dec. 1.

The ride will begin at 1 p.m. at Emory University (1390 Oxford Road, Atlanta, GA 30322) and will end at approximately 4:30 p.m.  Action Cycling ride leaders will take participants on a 30-mile ride through the Emory area and return to campus.

A reception immediately following the ride will be held in the University Living Room, located on the 3rd floor of the Oxford Road Building. The reception will recognize all the progress made thus far in developing an HIV/AIDS vaccine and the work still to be accomplished in this continued fight.

Please RSVP to ridedirector@actioncycling.org and note whether you plan to attend the entire event (ride + reception), or just the reception beginning at 5 p.m. Please direct questions to ridedirector@actioncycling.org
